Laura Trach - Orange Cat Studio - Textile Art
At the back of the barn, wind your way up the stairs and around the apple tree to visit Laura and the three Orange Cats in the Studio. Laura is currently exploring textiles landscapes, drawing her inspiration from the breathtaking Haliburton Highlands vistas. In her exquisitely detailed works featuring needle felting and the thread painting as the prominent techniques, Laura melds craft with fine art. Custom and art wear garments along with commissioned works welcomed.
Located 1 km from highway 35 off the north end of Horseshoe Lake Road at #1153 Dennison Road. The Studio is open year round, by chance or appointment. Watch for the studio sign on the left side of Dennison Road.
